In this project, we are fortunate to collaborate with  SMIDIGE Technology Company as SVA students. This project includes a complete UI/UX and product design process encompassing problem discovery, communication and collaboration, and proposing solutions. Starting from SMIDIGE’s desire to improve communication efficiency, we have designed a comprehensive new communication platform and additional support services specifically for tech startup companies.
1. Understanding the problem
In our collaboration with SMIDIGE, we conducted several in-depth and close interviews and exchanges, through which we learned that they hope to improve communication efficiency with their users. We first tried to deeply understand their business, work processes, and communication tools. Additionally, we carried out extensive research, discussions, and summaries. As a result, we concluded that their main issues stem from users’ lack of understanding of their needs and the loss of information across different platforms. This leads to low communication efficiency and prevents them from fully leveraging their company’s strengths.

Clearly defining cooperation goals from the outset significantly enhances work efficiency and fosters trust with customers.

Why does it matter
Not only SMIDIGE facing this problem, this is a common issue in the industry.

In the market, 68% of people stated that inefficient communication issues significantly reduce their work efficiency and increase the time spent on communication, thereby escalating costs.

How might we assist startups and small IT companies in improving efficiency, professionalism, and customer trust?
3. Competitor Analyst
We researched other B2B companies in the market, as well as their collaboration platforms and management tools. We found that although SMIDIGE has its own strengths and a solid foundation, there is significant room for improvement in their collaborative communication. Through both horizontal and vertical comparisons, we identified key areas that need improvement.
4. Ideate
We encapsulated various communication optimization strategies into different product components.

For example, to address the challenge of determining customer needs early on, we developed a custom AI chatbot named Otii. We branded all our solutions under OptiRise. Our product range comprises Otii, Optimator, Opteam, and OptiMemory.  Additionally, OptiRise provides these companies with customer leads and builds bridges for better connections.
5. User Flow & Wireframes
We optimized the user flow based on pain points and designed the product accordingly. Now, tech startups can simply collaborate with OptiRise and subscribe with one click to receive upgraded services. Companies can choose different products based on their specific needs to address various issues.
6. Design
